Backup and Restore Services
Inforonics offers a standard Backup & Restore (BUR) service designed to maximize data availability and protection for customers. Inforonics can also provide remote Backup and Restore services for data located on servers at third-party data centers. Our standard service schedule is as follows:
  • 6 daily, incremental backups and 1 weekly full backup per week.
  • Tapes will be stored on-site, at Inforonics, for 1 week, and then stored off-site at a secure storage facility (currently Iron Mountain) for 90 days.
  • Custom schedules are also available.
  • Custom solutions including mirroring are also available.
 Tape Library
In the event of a catastrophic system or hardware failure (servers, disks, or databases), Inforonics will retrieve the appropriate tape(s) from the off-site storage facility and perform restoration and recovery services for the appropriate customer-designated directories and files. Standard Backup and Restore services are charged per GB of data backed up or restored.
