About Our Monitoring Inforonics utilizes a lading open source monitoring tool as a base for scheduling monitoring checks and generating alerts. Custom solutions built on this framework allow Inforonics to rapidly provision new monitoring and generate client-defined alerts with escalation paths and resolution actions. Inforonics Engineers can program an alert to launch an automated resolution script. In the event the script does not fix the issue, it is escalated, automatically, to our network operations center. Inforonics has written hundreds of custom monitoring plugins to meet the needs of our clients.
About Our Graphing Inforonics utilizes open source network graphing solutions, such as Cacti, designed to work with RRDTool's data storage and graphing functionality. Inforonics Engineers develop custom data collection methods and custom graph templates, to help you visualize the metrics of your applications or systems.
Reporting The custom monitoring plugins written by Inforonics not only perform monitoring, they measure performance. Inforonics has built a system to graph and trend the metrics of every monitoring point. Inforonics' trending tool will alert you when a system or service is leaning towards capacity over the past month, allowing you to adjust or expand before an issue becomes critical. When there is an issue, Inforonics can show you via custom graphs of monitoring data, a visual representation of what happened, allowing for more rapid problem solving.
Automated Deployment Inforonics has developed a custom application that rapidly provisions monitoring and graphing standards within open source frameworks when new servers are brought on-line. Custom templates designed by Inforonics Engineers ensure that new servers are monitored exactly the same as others within your infrastructure. with RRDTool's data storage and graphing functionality. Inforonics Engineers develop custom data collection methods and custom graph templates, to help you visualize the metrics of your applications or systems.
SLA Monitoring Inforonics reports on performance with respect to service levels by creating custom monitoring plugins that access your applications in the same ways as your customers. This enables the client to have immediate awareness when the customer experience is less than optimal, so immediate in fact, the client is aware before the customers even experience the lapse in service.
Data Polling Open source graphing solutions can produce graphs in real time for data collected over any time period or date range. The Cacti database, for example, is populated with data gathered through multiple avenues. With this data, Inforonics is able to see patterns and determine growth trends over time. It is also a helpful troubleshooting tool when systems are exhibiting abnormal performance characteristics.
