Inforonics to provide Connectivity platform MONITORING AND TECHNICAL SUPPORT TO ITP Corporation
Global financial services technology provider to expand support to customers worldwide
Littleton, MA – February 4, 2008 – Inforonics, LLC, a custom managed services and branded technical support provider, announced today that it has signed a contract with New York-based Integrated Trade Processing (ITP) Corporation, a provider of integrated, customizable trading technology services for banks, investment managers, and securities firms. Under the agreement, Inforonics has developed an automated process that streamlines the monitoring of ITP's applications and counter-party connectivity and will provide ITP’s financial services clients with Tier 1 outsourced technical support.
ITP's Real-Time Post-Trade (RTP) platform offers customizable services that support securities trading in equities, fixed income, mutual funds and hedge funds across the entire trade lifecycle, from order capture to settlement confirmation. The platform allows banks, brokers and asset managers to configure custom designed transaction processing solutions that result in lower overall costs, straight through processing and improved client facing services.
Financial transactions conducted in today’s technologically advanced marketplace require a heightened degree of security. For this reason, each one of ITP’s clients conducts business via a dedicated and secure network connection to ITP’s RTP platform. Due to the myriad of international customers that ITP serves, the organization approached Inforonics to provide technical support during off-peak hours. Inforonics ARKStarSM engineers custom designed a tool that will monitor system generated events that identify possible server and/or connectivity issues. Critical events are identified by the tool and escalated to the Inforonics ARK Center, its technical support hub in Littleton, MA. This streamlining of processes has already resulted in a significant decrease in the number of system generated events that require engineer intervention. When a connectivity or server issue is identified, Inforonics’ Tier 1 Technical Support representatives are at the ready to either resolve the issue or escalate as appropriate.
